Buyer's
Buyers Responsibility
As a buyer at Central Arkansas Auto Auction, it is critical to understand and uphold your responsibilities to ensure a fair and efficient transaction process. By placing a bid, either in-lane or online, you are acknowledging that it is your duty to inspect the vehicle, review all announcements and sale lights, and understand the terms of the sale prior to purchase. Each sale light (Green, Yellow, Red) indicates different levels of arbitration protection, and it's your responsibility to know what each means before committing to a purchase.
Equally important is protecting yourself through available services such as post-sale inspections (PSI), which help identify mechanical or structural issues early. Once a vehicle is released, any damage must be documented immediately; failure to do so at the gate forfeits your right to file a damage claim. Additionally, if there are issues with the title or the vehicle’s representation, you must notify the auction promptly and avoid turning over possession to a third party until the matter is resolved.
Remember, buying a vehicle at auction carries financial and legal obligations. Vehicles must be paid for in full, and unless a valid arbitration case is accepted, you assume risk of loss from the moment of sale. Any vehicle returned must be in the same or better condition and fall within the auction’s timeline and mileage guidelines. Respecting these responsibilities protects not only your business but also the integrity of the auction and the trust between buyers, sellers, and our team.
