Seller's
Sellers Responsibility
As a seller at Central Arkansas Auto Auction, you play a key role in maintaining the trust, transparency, and efficiency that define our auction experience. Accurately representing your vehicles is not only a requirement, it’s essential to fostering repeat business and buyer confidence. You are responsible for disclosing any known issues with a vehicle, including mechanical defects, title problems, frame or structural damage, and odometer discrepancies. These disclosures must be made prior to the vehicle crossing the auction block and must be included in both written and verbal announcements.
Sellers must also ensure that titles are valid, transferable, and in the auction’s possession within the stated time frame. Vehicles sold as “title absent” must have proper documentation delivered to the auction within the designated period. Failure to meet title delivery deadlines may result in sale cancellations, fines, or the return of the vehicle at the seller’s expense.
It is equally important to stand behind your vehicles during the sale. Whether you are physically present on the block or represented by an auction staff member, clearly setting floor prices and being responsive to offers can improve sales results. In the event of arbitration, you are expected to cooperate fully with auction staff, supply accurate documentation, and adhere to the NAAA Arbitration Policy.
Ultimately, sellers who consistently price fairly, disclose transparently, and engage with buyers build a strong reputation and maximize their return. Your accountability supports a competitive, honest environment that benefits everyone at Central Arkansas Auto Auction.
